Consistent, conservative, effective – these are the words that come to mind when it comes to County Commissioner Larry Kiker. In his four years on the Board of County Commissioners Larry has been a leader on water quality issues. This isn’t something new to him because it’s the current topic in the news, instead he has been advocating for and successfully securing funding from the state and federal governments for projects which will help alleviate Lake Okeechobee discharges. He’s fought and succeeded at preventing a FEMA flood insurance hike that would have devastated our costal communities.
Larry has been an advocate for lower taxes, pushed for term limits and worked to remove government barriers so job creators can create jobs easier here in Lee County. He worked to revise the budgetary process in Lee County and as a result the county has reduced spending. There is no question that the things in Lee county are better now than they were 4 years ago before Larry Kiker. I’m supporting Larry Kiker and urge you to join me.
