The beautiful Lover’s Key State Park Beach will once again become the setting for hundreds of married couples to renew their wedding vows in celebration of that day of Love – Valentine’s Day at Lovers Key. Friends of Lovers Key (FOLKS) will, for its 10th year, offer this special fundraising event for married partners. All will enjoy the non-denominational vow renewal ceremony as well as a Champagne toast, meal, wedding cake and so much more. The cost is $100 per couple plus Eventbrite handling fees. Park admission fee is included.
Proceeds from the event will help FOLKS furnish and equip the new Welcome and Discovery Center building at the park. Spaces remain only for the 10am and 1pm ceremonies. The 4pm event is sold out. To make a reservation, go to Eventbrite.com and enter “vows” under event and both time slots will appear. For more information call 630-542-2435.
