School’s out and it’s time for summer camp! There are plenty of choices left but it’s time to register before all the camps are full. Some camp programs have scholarship programs.
Bay Oaks offers camp opportunities from now through August 9. Camp meets MO – FR from 7:30am – 6pm with weekly field trips, swimming, arts & crafts, sports and a friendly environment for ages 5-13. Beginning at $75/week for members and $100/week for nonmembers. 239-765-4222.
Mound House Super Science Camps offer a variety of one week camps through August 2. MO – FR 9am – 4pm. Moviemaking Magic is offered July 22-26; Engineering June 10-14 & July 29-Aug 2; Calusa Kids June 17 -21; Kitchen Chemistry June 24 -28; Real Robotics July 8-12 and Best of Super Science and Amazing Art on July 15 -19. Cost is $250/week.
Ostego Bay Summer Camp still has a few spaces available for camp weeks beginning June 17, July 8 and July 22. Explore our barrier islands and the waters of Estero Bay. Field and beach trips introduce campers to sea grass communities, mangrove tangles and more. Camps begin at the Marine Science Center, 718 Fisherman’s Wharf, FMB. Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm. The Fort Myers Miracle will offer two-day youth baseball camps to help children learn the game. Miracle players, coaches and staff will teach campers the proper fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing and running. Designed for all skill levels ages 6-12. Sessions run from 9am – noon. Camp 1 will be held MO July 8 & TU July 9. Camp 2 is on TU July 30 and WE July 31. $85/child or $160/both camps. Includes camp t-shirt, two tickets to the Miracle game on each day of camp and lunch.
