    Sunday, March 15th, 1pm

For over half a century, area young ladies have vied to be the Shrimp Festival Queen on Fort Myers Beach. This year ten sponsored Shrimp Princesses (contestants) will ride in the Shrimp Festival Parade, assisted with the Kids Shrimp Run and will help the Fort Myers Beach Lions Club during the Festival on Saturday, before taking the stage on festival grounds in Lynn Hall Park on Sunday, March 15 at 1pm for the Queen Pageant.

Trophies and/or prizes will be awarded to the Queen, First runner-up, Second runner-up, Miss Personality, Miss Congeniality, Miss Photogenic and Miss People’s Choice. The People’s Choice Award is determined by $1 donations from the public at the Sunday pageant or online at FMBShirmpFest.com. All proceeds benefit FMB Lions Club charities, including local vision projects, scholarships and community projects. Come early and watch the 6th annual Shrimp Eating Championship at noon Sunday and make time to browse the Art Fair & Food Expo and grab a Lions Shrimp Dinner before the local shrimp are all gone!
