Shrimp Pageant

The Biggest Annual Event of Fort Myers Beach will be held March 12th and 13th 2016…The Fort Myers Beach Lions Club Shrimp Festival Parade and Pageant!

The floats! The food! The Shrimp! Locally caught Fresh Florida Pink Gold! And, one of the favorite traditions of the festival… the Shrimp Princesses riding atop the fabulous corvettes in the parade, one which will be crowned the 2016 Fort Myers Beach Lion’s Shrimp Festival Queen! With that title comes a college scholarship and other prizes. There are a lot of awards and prizes, and all Princesses also receive Community Service Hours. It’s a fun time where you will be helping the Lions Club in their mission of helping people.

Princesses must be between the age of sixteen and twenty years old. There is no talent category and it is not a beauty contest. We are looking for young ladies who are friendly, outgoing, with a pleasing personality, and who can be good-will ambassadors for our area.

If you would like to be a Princess in the 58th Annual Shrimp Festival Parade, please email or call me and I’ll set you up with a sponsor if you don’t already have one. (239) 849-3603 cell;

We can’t wait to meet you and introduce you to our current 2015 Shrimp Festival Queen, Manuella Constantino, who will lead the Princesses in the parade.

This year only, due to Estero Boulevard Construction, the parade route will be from Bowditch Point to Lynn Hall Park, where the pageant will be held.

Please call with any questions!
