Shrimp Festival Queen Pageant, 2019 Princesses

Several lovely young ladies are vying for the 2019 Shrimp Queen crown this year. Meet them here! The Shrimp Queen Pageant is just about as old as the Festival itself and certainly as beloved. Contestants, known as Princesses, ages 16–20 participate in this annual search for the best goodwill ambassador for the Beach Lions Club and Fort Myers Beach area. Pageant judges look for personality, friendliness and social skills during social events where Princesses do not know who the judges are. Watch for the Princesses in the parade on Saturday, March 9 beginning at 10am, then head to the pavilion in Lynn Hall Park at 1pm when 2018 Shrimp Queen Chloe Stam will crown the 2019 Queen. Pageant awards and scholarships will also be announced, as will Parade Awards.
