Marching Down the Boulevard

It was another outstanding Shrimp Festival Parade down Estero Blvd. last Saturday morning as a full contingent of floats, marching groups and musical entries entertained crowds that lined the boulevard. Parade Awards were given in several categories: Business – 1st Place Red Coconut

Civic Group – 1st Place Red Cross
2nd Place Shriners
Family or Non-Business 1st Place Duck Float
2nd Place Dunn’s
Youth Group – Beach Baptist
Decorated Car – Beach United Methodist Church
Decorated Truck  – Friends of the Beach Library
Decorated Boat – Trico Shrimp
Marching Musical – Calendar Girls
Marching Non Musical – Clydesdales
Musical Non-Marching – Bay Shore Cloggers.

Delighting the crowds, the Duck Float won 1st Place in the Non-business Category.
