Service Night


Members of the Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation met last week to participate in Service Night. Members came together with travel sized toiletries and created over 100 bags for ACT (Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc.) ACT is committed to serving victims of domestic violence, sexual  assault and human trafficking. Last year the FMBCF donated over $25,000 to organizations like ACT who serve the beach community. The Fort Myers Beach Community Foundation also sponsors a scholarship program. The scholarship program is designed to meet the needs of any applicant wishing to improve their life through education. Anyone living on the beach or whose family works on Fort Myers Beach may apply. Any form of education including trade schools and certificate programs is encouraged. Last year the FMBCF awarded over $10,0000 in scholarships. Applications must be received by March 1, 2020 and additional details can be found by visiting the website:
