Fifth grade students acted as guides for the volunteer readers.

Beach Elementary School participated in a nationwide reading celebration known as Read Across America this week. Celebrated annually on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the National Education Association’s Read Across America encourages adults to read to and with children. Beach Elementary, all decked out in Dr. Seuss décor, invited local residents and leaders to read to students.
