The Island Sand Paper has a brand new website! Bob & Missy Layfield, Publisher & Editor of the Island Sand Paper Media Group announce the release of an updated website:  formyersbeach.news

This new website is totally responsive, meaning it formats automatically on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smart phone. This permits our readers to access our published information via the existing print issues, as well as online on their favorite internet-access device. Users who have bookmarked and used the former web address of islandsandpaper.com or isandpaper.com need not worry, as those addresses will be directed to the new website automatically.

Also available in this new release are the complete print versions of both the monthly SAND LIFE Magazine and the weekly Island Sand Paper newspaper without any charge or subscription. Readers can find links to the print versions on the home page and view the actual print issues page by page, as in the past.

“Contrary to existing publishing trends seeking additional online subscriber revenues, we felt there was more upside in growing our online readership for advertisers than in subscription revenues, pure and simple,” said Bob Layfield. Also available is an email reminder readers can request, to alert them when the next issue is available for them read.

Content on the site will be organized by news or subject category. These articles can be read on any device without article manipulation, squinting or pinching of the page. Articles are also now searchable via search engines for greater accessibility for readers seeking information on specific topics. Prior issue articles will automatically be saved and dated, so the user will in effect have an informational archive for research and reference. Plus, we are finalizing arrangements with a service that will allow access to all of our Sand Paper archives going back to 2010 and many from before that!

Lastly, the site is connectible to the social media platforms of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google Plus permitting sharing on social media. See a great beach story – go ahead and share it! The Island Sand Paper is also now active with professional management of Sand Paper accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Google Plus. Stay connected to the beach and find, friend or follow the Island Sand Paper on all of these to keep current on what is happening in and around Fort Myers Beach – a great place to live, visit, work or play!
