Medieval Faire Rallies Despite Bad Weather

249

Locals, visitors and snowbirds flocked to the 23rd Annual Medieval Faire last weekend, giving organizers a last-minute surge in fundraising after having to cancel the first weekend due to inclement weather. The Faire is put on by the Fort Myers’ Kiwanis Club each year, with the proceeds – once costs are covered – going directly to help needy kids in Lee County. The 30+ acts come from all over the United States, most of them performing for half of what they usually charge to offer a fun family time for a great cause.
