Kiwanis Donates to AMI Kids

At their September 6 meeting, the Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club donated funds for the AMI Kids Workforce Development Program. After presenting information about this new program, AMI Executive Director, Jeffrey Jean-Jacques and Business Partnership Recruiter Adriana De Welde were surprised to be presented with a check for $6,000. AMI Kids of Southwest Florida is located at 1190 Main Street, Fort Myers Beach.

The Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club continues to grow with their new flexible meeting schedule. Upcoming meetings include Thursday, Sept 19 at 5:30pm; Friday, Oct 4 at 7:30am; Friday, Oct 11 at noon and Thursday, Oct 17 at 5:30pm. All meetings are held at Bonita Bills Café, 702 Fisherman’s Wharf, Fort Myers Beach.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
