I am an avid weekly on-reader of the Island Sand Paper. We come down to FMB every year for 3 to 4 weeks in the winter and appreciate being able to keep up year round with the happenings in the paradise called Fort Myers Beach. With my recent retirement we hope to visit more often and stay longer.
It is very sad when another small community newspaper is forced to sell or close. No one seems to “miss” a community newspaper until it’s gone and that is a real shame.
I truly hope you find a buyer, and that buyer, is as professional and dedicated as the Layfield family and Island Sand Paper staff are, and have been, over the decade of our readership.
Thank you for all the FMB news “that’s fit to print” !
