We’ve been holidaying on your beautiful island for some 20 years and just love it. However, for the first time in all these visits we’ve been saddened by the careless behaviour of some visitors. On a number of occasions this May we’ve had to pick up litter left by visitors and following the holiday weekend have seen a huge amount. Visitors have left seats on the beach (obviously too lazy to carry them back) which is a hazard for the turtles and wildlife, empty cans and bottles, bags and fast food boxes. Those who walk the beach in order to keep the wildlife safe are doing a wonderful and much appreciated job but everyone has a responsibility to keep FMB the paradise it has been and hopefully will continue to remain.
