There were many high points that catapulted the holiday weekend into the stratosphere for me this year. Every party, every store on the island I happened upon, was full of people intent on spreading heartfelt good cheer and sincere glad tidings.
I love small town living. Our small town is especially blessed with generous souls who want to help each other.
On Saturday, I was fortunate enough to encounter one such person at our local post office – Tony, who was working in the back that morning. He went out of his way to help me make my grandson’s Christmas wishes come true.
Thank you to Tony, and all the warm-hearted folks on this island who make me so happy to call this little burg ‘home’.
