Each year the members of the Estero Island Historic Society invite the Fort Myers Beach community, both residents and visitors to join them for a festive Holiday Open House at the Historic Cottage at 161 Bay Road, behind the Beach Library and Beach School. This year they will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, December 10th from 2-5 p.m.
The Historic Cottage will be decorated and filled with Christmas cheer. Stop by to see their new exhibits and historic photographs. Members will be holding a bake sale (famous for rum balls!!) during the Open House. Enjoy the festive Cottage, holiday hospitality, free refreshments and holiday cheer while taking in some island history.
Donations of baked goods are most welcome. Please drop off your treats for sale in The Annex of the Historic Cottage between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 10.
Everyone is welcome to partake in some historic-themed holiday cheer. Purchase fresh baked goods, sip punch and view the festive decorations adorning the cottage.
