I am responding to your Editorial (Packed Agendas,” Island Sand Paper, January 24, 2020). The Town Council meeting on February 18, 2020 is very critical for property owners and their effected property rights.
If you own property on Estero Boulevard or the Beach it is critical that you become both informed and get involved in the proposed zoning changes and matters that could dramatically effect your property value and usage.
The Town Council could eliminate your rights to put structures and effect remodeling of your improvement with some of the changes they are contemplating.
Also, they are discussing zoning for landscaping and fencing issues along Estero Boulevard right of way. Again, this could impact property values and usage.
What the Town Council will do in Segment 6 of the project is even more unknown to property owners that live there so I urge everyone concerned to attend the (Town Council) meeting on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
