As part of a nationwide observance, Fish-Tale Marina is celebrating National Marina Day: Summer of Giving on Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., 7225 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach.
National Marina Day: Summer of Giving is a celebration of boating, community, and giving back, said Al Durrett, of Fish-Tale Marina. Existing boaters are always ready to celebrate with a day on the water, but on this day, we ask them to bring a non-boater out to share the experience. We invite you visit Fish-Tale Marina, learn more about boating, and enjoy the events we have planned,” said Durrett.
Fish-Tale Marina’s National Marina Day: Summer of Giving activities include:
- Discounted tickets on the Estero Bay Express – $15 for an hour tour from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children are free with paying adult
- First 25 kids will receive a FREE fishing pole
- Free hot dogs
- Presentations from Turtle Time, Inc., Ostego Bay Foundation, the Estero Bay Buddies and the Lee County Sheriff Department’s Marina Unit
- Enjoy a special visit from a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
“Now, more than ever, Americans need outdoor, safe, family-friendly ways to spend their leisure time. National Marina Day: Summer of Giving does this by introducing boating to those who want to learn more. It reminds our existing customers and our community that Fish-Tale Marina continues to be a local, clean and resilient marina as well as a beautiful gateway to on-the-water fun,” added Durrett.
Located on the pristine Estero Bay aquatic preserve on Fort Myers Beach, Fish-Tale Marina has been creating extraordinary boating experiences since 1958.
