The 13th Annual Fort Myers Beach International Film Festival opened Wednesday afternoon at Beach Theater with Fort Myers Beach Mayor Anita Cereceda welcoming filmmakers, actors and film-lovers of all ages to the five-day event. Film Screenings began following the ribbon-cutting and will continue from 3 – 11pm daily through Saturday, plus 3-6pm Sunday at Beach Theater. Film tickets are $8 each. Families are encouraged to attend the Free Outdoor Movie on the Mound, “Incredibles 2” at 7pm on Saturday, April 27 at the Mound House. Ticketed Filmmaker workshops will be held on Friday and Saturday at 11am. The Awards Ceremony will be held at 7pm Sunday, April 28 at Fish-Tale Waterfront Dining, 7225 Estero Blvd, FMB.
