Film Festival Announces Winners


The 11th annual Fort Myers Beach Film Festival concluded five star-studded days of film screenings, workshops and fun on Sunday afternoon, August 30th at the awards ceremony held at Fish Tale Marina. Following the ceremony, one of the winners of the Best Feature, “The Earth is Flat” and People’s Choice winner “The Pickle Recipe” were shown at the Beach Theater, where the Film Festival was held April 26-30 this year.


Red Flight Pictures presented a Digital Filmmaking & Acting Workshop, “The Making Of” with Z. Joseph Guice, Bryant Hendricks, Kyle Thompson and Samantha Artese during the festival. Fort Myers Beach Film Festival

The traditional Friday “Film on the Beach” was transformed this year into a “Film on the Bay” and held on the grounds of the Mound House overlooking Estero Bay at sunset Friday evening, April 28th, drawing families and both the young and young at heart to enjoy a screening of Disney’s, “Moana.”
