Dolores A. Yost of Fort Myers Beach passed peacefully on February 6, 2016. A dynamic presence, Dolores was an active member of the FMB community. She was an early advocate of the Mound House, collecting signatures, volunteering as a docent and promoting its mission. From gathering sponsors for the Fort Myers Film Festival to making certain her neighborhood was well represented at town meetings, she lived her passion for the beach. Dolores brought her expertise from her successful business career to every initiative she was involved with. She loved children and opened her heart to her neighbors and those less fortunate. She had a lifelong respect for Native Americans and gave generously to causes dedicated to improving their lives. A talented crafter, cook and competitive, she will be remembered as a big personality with an equally big heart.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Roy and grandson Thomas. Dolores is survived by her son Michael and grandson Carl, Daughter & Son-in-Law Helene and Scott Logan and extended family and friends.
Helene and Scott would like to thank the generous, loving spirit of her friends and neighbors from the Fort Myers area. Your support has been immeasurable and the very meaning of friendship.
