The FMB Mosquito Control urges residents to eliminate sources of mosquito production around their homes and neighborhoods: Get rid of old tires, buckets or any water-holding containers. Fill or drain any low spots in the yard. Fix leaky pipes and outside faucets. Empty wading pools, birdbaths, plant drip trays at least once/week. Cover trash cans to keep water out. Cut grass short and keep shrubbery trimmed. Keep drains, and ditches clear of weeds and trash so water drains properly.
