Beach School Pep Rally

Beach Elementary School held its first Pep Rally of the year last Friday. With the entire school assembled in the Dolphin Cafeteria, Coach Heather Ludovico had students K-5th grade dancing, smiling and then listening closely to some important tips on how to have a successful school year, presented by a team of Super Heroes, who often are disguised as school staff members.

In a surprise announcement at the end of the rally, Coach told the students that the school had won a grant from the Dairy Council of Florida for nearly $4,000 to develop a school garden and add playground equipment. Each room will be able to create its own garden where they will be able to grow their own vegetables. The playground grant will be used to increase physical activity levels.
