DON WADE SHRIMP BOIL
VFW Post 10097, 17770 Pine Ridge Road, Fort Myers Beach, will host a Shrimp Boil Dinner on SU, Feb 21, from 4-7:00pm. The Shrimp Boil features local shrimp, corn and coleslaw to raise funds to support our local veterans programs through the Don Wade Memorial Foundation. MOUND HOUSE EVENTS
Mound House is a unique archaeological and historical site on Fort Myers Beach located directly on Estero Bay and offers a variety of programs for local residents, visitors and school groups. The Fort Myers Beach Art Association Gallery will host two new exhibitions beginning next week. On Feb 20, an Outdoor Painters Group exhibit will be on display in Studio II. It will be on display until March 10. On Feb 22, the Winter Juried show, sponsored by Matanzas on the Bay will open and hang until Mar 24. A reception will be held Feb 28, beginning with a gallery talk by Patty Kane at 1pm, refreshments at 2:15 and ceremony at 3pm. Paintings are also available for sale. Admission is free.
