My husband Dan and I were contacted recently by Lisa Frick, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Infinite Wishes Foundation. If you’re not familiar with this organization, this is the adult, Florida residents only version of “Make A Wish Foundation.” We were honored to be able to host a couple whose wish was to spend a few nights on the beach. I, in turn, reached out to fellow business owners for restaurant gift cards and tour operators to see who could also help out. I prefaced each request with “I know that as a business owner on the beach, you get hit up constantly for donations. So, no worries, if you’re not able to help out at this time.” Every single person I called said, of course we’ll help. How much do you need? What can we do? How can we help? The positive response was absolutely humbling.
If you would like more information about this amazing organization go to inifinitewishes.org or phone Lisa Frick at 941 809 7697.
To borrow a phrase from Max Lucado, “No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.” On behalf of the Infinite Wishes Foundation, thank you for stepping up and doing something.
